I support farms and homesteads that use permaculture, organic, or other such sustainable methods. By changing our food choices, we can change the world.

March 2016- Present: Indian Valley Organic Farm, College of Marin
Position: Farm Specialist
Description: All aspects of farm field work, including: harvesting, washing/packing produce, bed preparation, seeding, transplanting, irrigation, weeding, greenhouse work, and tractor operation. Manage deliveries and farmer’s market stands, Support Farm Coordinator in organic certification and grant reporting, Recruit and instruct volunteers, Conservation Corps members, and college students in day to day activities, Lead tours of elementary school children, high school youth, and adults interested in the Farm program.

Description: Compost building, double dig bed preparation, sowing, transplanting, greenhouse/shade house care, harvesting, flower bouquet design, irrigation, orchard care, farmers market stand, leading volunteers, youth and Corps members in daily activities.
July 2015-Present: Montura Ranch, Novato CA.
Position: Vegetable Garden Caretaker
Description: Terraced organic vegetable beds and fruit orchards. Managed irrigation, seed sowing both direct and greenhouse transplants, compost, soil management, pruning of grapes and fruit trees, harvest and sales to local community.
